I've started to work with commissions, I'll be slow though. Why? It's because I've moved onto another drawing program and I'm still getting familiar with the shortcuts and the 'feels'. xD
I've been using Paint Tool Sai ever since I first got a tablet and I'm not proud to say that I've been only using a downloaded version, not an original. (I'm so sorry!) I don't have any extra money to purchase the software yet since it's like worth a month of my daily allowance in school.
So just 2 days ago I downloaded the bundled software of my wacom tablet, it's licensed so I feel much better now working with an original software that would surely not give me as much trouble than a pirated one.
The new software I'll use for my art from now will be Clip Studio Paint (they said it's similar to Manga Studio 5, or the exact mentioned software but in a different name) and I really liked it since it's like Sai and Photoshop in one.
I'm happy with it but I still can't grasp the smoothness of the brush from Sai. It'll probably take a while before I could fully get used to it therefore there might be subtle or maybe obvious changes from my work. Particularly the lineart.
I'm already having trouble drawing a bit of a clean lineart in Sai, imagine me moving to another software.
Although my style has always been messy, I'd still like to give my commissioners a bit of a cleaner work.
So I guess that's a little news about me, I hope you're all doing great fellas!
